In response to a fan question in Facebook Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino, has confirmed that the young midfielder will be part of the first Spurs squad.
Pritchard is back at the Spurs after being loaned to Championship’s Brentford. His performance there was quite successful, scoring 12 goals in his 45 appearances on the pitch.
“I can not speak for a team or a manager of the Premier League, but my opinion is that Alex will shine at White Hart Lane. He is a very capable player, and has the ambition to develop more and more. I think that at some point he will be among the star players of the international scene. ”
Players from the class of Harry Kane, Ryan Mason and Nabil Bentaleb are the actual result of the trust that manager Pochettino has bestowed in the Tottenham academy.
The coach believes that Alex Pritchard will follow their example, but a balance must be sought between young and seasoned players.
Tottenham also announced the first new arrival of the summer transfer window. This is defender Kevin Wimmer, who had been playing in the team of Cologne and is currently undergoing medical examinations for the Spurs.
